▸ 07 / OPERATING THESIS · 100-YEAR FORECAST

The world I'm building Proto™, Plant Vision™ & Rype™ into.

Against George Friedman’s The Next 100 Years (2009). Thesis: US dominance holds; the century is a sequence of challengers. Each decade below maps a Friedman call to an operating vector for the ventures.

● HIT ● MISS ● PENDING

2010s-20s

SECOND COLD WAR · POLISH BLOC

US-Russia re-freeze; US backs a Central European bloc led by Poland against Russian expansion.

OPERATING VECTOR Plant Vision™ anchored at Wageningen (NL) · NATO flank. European ag-security under fracture pressure.

STATUS · HIT · Ukraine 2022, Poland re-armed, bloc confirmed.

Early 2020s

RUSSIAN & CHINESE FRAGMENTATION

Russian Federation collapses Soviet-style; China fractures on coast-interior fault. Finland takes Karelia, Romania takes Moldova.

OPERATING VECTOR Don't stake supply chains on either. Proto™ vault sovereign to the user, not a regime.

STATUS · MISS · Friedman's own 2015 walk-back softened this to "devolution."

2020s-30s

NEW GREAT POWERS · TURKEY · JAPAN · POLAND

Three US-aligned regional powers emerge with space-military programs. Neo-Ottoman, rearmed Japan, Polish-led bloc.

OPERATING VECTOR Rype™ thermal AI: dual-use in all three spheres. Sauna Meister frame travels. 40 countries shipped.

STATUS · PENDING · Poland rearming, Japan loosening Article 9, Turkey drone export. Early signal.

2040s

BLOCS FORM

US nervous about Turkey-Japan expansion; realigns with Poland, UK, restabilized China, India, reunified Korea.

OPERATING VECTOR Huxley as the personal biomarker OS survives any bloc. Health data belongs to the body, not the flag.

STATUS · PENDING · Too far out. Watch Korea reunification signal.

~2050

WORLD WAR III

Turkey-Japan coordinated sneak attack. Friedman dates it: 5:00 p.m. Thanksgiving, Nov 24 2050. 2-3 year war. ~50,000 lives. Hypersonics, powered armor, orbital Battle Stars, Moon bases. US wins.

OPERATING VECTOR I'll be 63. Proto™ is a 100-year stack. Huxley runs on-device. The body is the spacecraft, and the backup.

STATUS · PENDING · T-minus 24 years.

2050s-60s

AMERICAN GOLDEN AGE

Post-war boom on military tech spillover. Satellite solar ends hydrocarbon dependence. Robotics + genetics push longevity hard.

OPERATING VECTOR This is Proto™'s window. 67 SKUs → clinic pipeline → vault → lifespan OS. We live forever.

STATUS · PENDING · The thesis the ventures are underwritten against.

2070s→

MEXICAN CHALLENGE

Mexico becomes a major power. The old Mexican Cession drifts demographically Mexican. Southwest insurgency. Unresolved into the 22nd century.

OPERATING VECTOR Madison, WI: the launchpad. Mississippi/Great Lakes watershed sits above the contested zone. Plant Vision™ feeds a continent under strain.

STATUS · PENDING · Demographic trend is real; separatist insurgency is not.
